Wild Natural processed Colombian coffee from Finca Russilandia produced by Heyler Guerra in Villarrica, Colombia. We had Heylers 2022 harvest Russilandia lot and are very happy to have his latest lot in for Summer 2024. Limited release from December 2023 harvest brought in by our friends at LaREB (La Real Expedición Botánica) who we work with in Colombia.
This lot is a long fermentation Natural. The whole cherries are fermented for up to seven days in closed tanks. Controlled long fermentation with attention to detail in every step of the way yields bold and very wildly fruity characteristics in the cup. Nice take on the flavour profile of a more common Castillo variety.
Expect very bold, yet bright and wildly fruity cup with ripe apple acidity and red cherry with good amount of sweetness.
